The documentary itself is made up entirely of mostly still images alternating sporadically with talking heads; religious scholars, theologians and reverends. Directed by Greg Moodie and written and produced by Dave Flitton, it was researched by Eibhleann Ni Ghriofa, Deirdre Learmont and Craig McGregor (Gaelic names if ever I heard them!) Itï¿½s an impressive and very open-minded account and offers some fantastic insight into the evolution; the hows and whys the spectre of the Devil has existed and morphed through the ages from the dawn of civilization through to the new millennium.

The film\'s plot centres on a ruthless, rich businessman, Gordy Metcalf, who is played by Dave Courtney, who owns the best greyhound in the country. An ex-trainer sets a trap for three young men from a poor estate in North East England, who go on to train a dog which takes on the businessman\'s greyhound in a match-race at the Peterborough final. And the final is run over Fengate\'s six bends - hence the film\'s title.$

The bubble bursts when the police arrest Whitney and his accomplice Nordingham as swindlers involved in a pyramid scheme. Stone broke and without the money to pay the mortgage Pa put on the house, the clan moves back to their small, old home. The children come through and knuckle down down to work to help the family recover. Then, Grandpa tells them that the gold mine never existed and the monthly checks had been coming from him, as he was anxious to prove that they weren\'t just loafers.$
