Taggart: Jardine's team clashes with officers from another station when the body inside in car wreckage is identified as that of a popular police officer. The search begins for an escaped convict, but Jardine suspects it's more a hunt for revenge than for justice. Friction between the Maryhill team and the Glenside coppers causes fuses to blow and when questions are raised about corruption at Glenside things get pretty hot for Jardine's team. Robbie once again sails close to the wind.
