Initial D: It is night-time on Mt. Akagi and Keisuke is forced into a race with Wataru, some outside with a turbo-charged "Eight-Six". However things come to a grinding halt as they approach a road accident at full speed. Later the next day Itsuki arranges a meeting with Takumi and Wataru, to form some kind of friendship between "Levin" lovers but some things are just not meant to be.
